DEFERRAL OPTION

Transfer your 2020 registration to April 10, 2021. You will have until April 3, 2020 at 11:59pm EST to complete this transaction logging into the registration page and changing your registration to the DEFER option. The fee structure for this is a $15 fee for the Half Marathon and/or a $10 fee for the 5k and no fee for the children’s Cub run. See the link below for instructions on completing your deferral.

DEFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS

VIRTUAL OPTION

Switch your registration to the VIRTUAL RUN and on your own time go run your 13.1 or 3.1. After your run and submit your results to the results self-posting link. On Monday April 6, 2020, the Mettle Events staff will be packing up and mailing out your finisher medal to you. See the link below to switch your registration to virtual.

The Dismal Swamp Canal Trail off Route 17 offers runner forested wetlands and a peaceful paved path along the wilderness of the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. Runners can opt for half marathon, 5K, or kids half mile distances

Dismal Swamp Stomp offers all of the perks of larger races minus the big crowds. If you're tired of feeling like a herd of cattle, you'll love Dismal Swamp Stomp!

Custom race T-shirt, finisher medal for all. Custom carved heron awards to overall and age group winners. $4,000 in prize money to the top 5 overall male and female age graded winners in the half marathon.
